Noise

An assessment of the potential noise impact has been carried out, taking into account the type of noise which is produced by wind turbines and the published guidelines concerning the acceptability of noise levels from various sources. This assessment also took into consideration the turbines of the Castle Pill Wind Farm. Worst-case noise predictions indicate that the proposed wind farm development will meet the acceptable noise criteria at all dwellings.
