Ecology

The proposed wind farm is located next to designated sites, which require strict protection for their marine and shoreline habitats and species. Infinergy has ensured that the wind farm will not impact upon these sites through the design of the wind farm itself.

Surveys were undertaken to assess the presence on the site of various species, including birds, badgers, bats and reptiles. We have designed the turbine locations to avoid or minimise any impacts to these species, and we will make sure that protection is put in place, where it is required.
