Welcome to Wear Point Wind Farm
Wind developers Infinergy and specialist investors John Laing are in the process of constructing the four-turbine wind development Wear Point Wind Farm near Milford Haven. The wind farm is awaiting full commissioning which is expected to take place in March 2014.
The project is located on disused industrial land at the SEMLogistics oil storage facility along the Milford Haven Waterway, just outside the village of Waterston.
Welsh contractors including Raymond Brown Cymru from Bridgend, Burke Contracts from Carmarthen and Austwel from Milford Haven have been involved in the construction process. Mabey Bridge in Chepstow have supplied the towers for the REpower MM82 wind turbines.
Both Infinergy and John Laing are keen to keep the community informed about progress and this website aims to update you on the latest. If you would like to receive regular updates or if you have any questions or comments, please get in touch.
